Careers Fair 2021 - there really is something for everyone.
No matter what course you are studying - employers want to recruit students and graduates with a wide range of skills, from a wide range of degree subjects, so don't judge an organisation on what you think you know about them!
If you're in your 2nd year and looking for a placement, or in your final year and ready to get your graduate job secured, here's some examples of graduate and placement roles with employers that want to speak to you, at next weeks Careers Fair. We've got a mixture of virtual presentations and in-person networking, so take a look what's on offer:
Enterprise Rent A Car have a brilliant Management Graduate Training Programme which is open to students from alldegree disciplines. Following a comprehensive training programme, you could be a manager in 2 years!
The British Army have roles available in Engineering, HR, Teaching, Finance, IT and Comms, Intelligence, Policing, Logistics, Combat and more!
Royal Air Force have over 50 different roles including 21 Graduate and 23 Apprenticeship opportunities. Graduates can choose a number of different areas they wish to follow including opportunities in Aviation Support, Combat Arms, Communications, Education and Training, Engineering, Intelligence, Logistics and HR.
Gloucestershire Constabulary staff work in a variety of essential roles in the Constabulary, providing valuable support to operational colleagues. These include Finance, HR, Transport Services, IT and Comms, Force Control Room, Legal Services and Criminal Justice.
The REED Group offer Graduate Schemes where you will start operationally as either a recruitment consultant, sales exec, or employment adviser, then after that you’ll have the option to move to another department or area. Typical roles include positions in: Marketing, Finance, IT, HR, and range of Project roles to meet the strategic business growth needs.
BT offer two routes: Graduate programmes and Graduate jobs. If you're not too sure what you want to do when you graduate, the Graduate Programmes at BT are for you. Almost all the schemes allow you to spend time in different parts of the organisation to get a feel for where you fit best.
Graduate jobs at BT on the other hand are designed for graduates who know exactly what they want to do in their career. Areas include Sales, Research, Marketing, Digital Technology, Product Management and Design, Cyber Security and many more!
Abercrombie & Kent Ltd are all about luxury travel, so if you're passionate about travel, and you're also interested in Operations, Sales or Social media, A&K want to meet you!
Travelteer offer brilliant volunteering and placement opportunities, in Nepal or Sri Lanka, across many areas such as Teaching English Abroad, Community Development, Mental Health, Marine and Wildlife Conservation, Sports Coaching for Children, and Healthcare Placements which give UK Psychology & Medical students direct access to Sri Lanka's healthcare system.
Travelteer also offer 12 week virtual internships with the opportunity to tackle various international development issues and achieve real outcomes for Travelteer's partners in Sri Lanka.
HMRC's Tax Specialist Programme is for graduates from any degree discipline. After a comprehensive training programme, your role could see you investigating fraud, making site visits and interviewing directors, their lawyers and accountants, resolving tax disputes, or working as a consultant, offering specialist advice to teams across the business, amongst other roles.
