The Guardian top 300 UK employers is now available and for a second year in a row the NHS Graduate Scheme heads the ranking. There are 1.5 million people currently working for the NHS. The graduate scheme has 100-150 vacancies annually and last year the NHS reported to have received over 12, 000 applications. The applications for the 2015 entry will open in October ( www.nhsgraduates.co.uk) and we will notify you on My Degreeplus.
The BBC is an established favourite, they come second in the 2014/15 Guardian ranking. There are various opportunities with the BBC from production and journalism trainees to technology and research trainees, and digital media graduates. They expect to recruit about 200 graduates in the 2015 intake ( www.bbc.co.uk/careers/trainee-schemes)
Google is third and the offer of exciting graduate roles, unusual corporate culture and cool offices attracts a large number of graduate applications every year (http://www.google.co.uk/about/careers/locations/london/) .
Amongst the top ten are: Microsoft, Jaguar Land Rover, John Lewis Partnership, and Rolls-Royce.
